We have an exciting opportunity for you to drive your career forward. As a Parts Advisor Apprentice you'll be responsible for delivering a first-class customer service experience. Daily tasks include serving trade and retail customers, identifying parts to meet customer requirements, providing technical advice and processing orders.

Weekly Wage:

£166.00

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday. 0830 - 1730. Possibility of Saturday workings and / or shifts. Working week will be confirmed on application.

Total hours per week: 40.00

Working Towards:

As well as employment in our retailer, you will be given the training and support you need to develop both personally and professionally.

Using a combination of classroom-based training, e-learning, practical training and application of learning, you will be guided by your trainers and personal mentor along to the road to success.

This apprenticeship combines off-the-job training with on-the-job learning, and you will be supported every step of the way.

On successful completion of the one-year programme you will receive the following:

  • Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Standard
  • Jaguar Land Rover specific certifications

Working Towards:

During your Vehicle Parts Apprenticeship programme, you will be required to attend Scania’s state-of-the-art Training centre. All travel expenses to and from the centre, together with the costs of the accommodation, are paid for by Scania GB.

As Scania’s dedicated training partner, Remit Group, we will deliver comprehensive training to all Apprentices periodically throughout the 2 ½ year programme. During these training sessions, your dedicated Development Coach will review your progress, set SMART targets, and identify any additional support that you may require.

To embed your knowledge further, as part of the apprenticeship programme, Functional Skills in English, mathematics and ICT will be provided to ensure you have that essential knowledge, skills, and understanding to enable you to operate confidently in the workplace environment.

As a result, you will achieve:

  • Level 2 VCQ & VRQ Certificate in Vehicle Parts Operations
  • Functional Skills Qualifications (if applicable) in English, maths and ICT

40 hours - shifts to be confirmed

Location:

Working Towards:

During your Heavy Vehicle Apprenticeship programme, you will be required to attend Scania’s state-of-the-art Training centre. The Scania Training Centre is one of their worldwide Training Centres of Excellence which is the biggest automotive training facility in the UK. You will visit the Training Centre for 18 separate weeks (Mon – Fri) over the duration of the 3-year programme. All travel expenses to and from the centre, together with the costs of the hotel accommodation, are paid for by Scania GB.

Alongside your apprenticeship training, you will complete a series of Scania recognised product-training courses, which when completed allow you to achieve a Scania Technician status.

As Scania’s dedicated training partner, Remit Group will deliver comprehensive training to all Apprentices periodically throughout the 3-year programme.
