Brief Overview:

We are looking for a Retail Sales Apprentice to help customers identify and purchase products they desire. Retail assistant duties include selling, restocking and merchandising. The goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase company's growth and revenue through sales.

Weekly Wage:

£132.60

Working Hours:

Tuesday – Friday: 9.30 am – 4.30 pm. Saturday 9.30 am – 3.00 pm. Occasional Sunday working with a day off in lieu.

The duration of the qualification is 12 – 15 months long. During the first 12 months you will receive monthly visits to cover all the standards and produce a portfolio of between 10 and 15 pieces of evidence to demonstrate you have the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours required. 

After the first 12 months you will progress on to your EPA this is where you will complete a scenario-based task and professional discussion supported by your portfolio of evidence with an independent assessor. The qualification is delivered by your designated trainer by monthly visits in the workplace and over the phone.

They will learn finance, accountancy, business and communications skills. There will be other skills they will learn but usually this is set out by the employer but usually include:

  • Elements of Costing
  • SAGE - understanding accounting software
