IT Support Apprentice (Level 3)

Job Description:

You will be part of a team that will be providing an excellent customer service and support to all departments in all countries (UK, Netherlands, Germany, Italy and Luxembourg) and will be supporting the users in their day to day usage of both the custom ERP system and Windows systems. 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Respond to users queries via telephone or email
  • Resolve issues from users with a varying degree of technical knowledge and experience
  • Basic troubleshooting on both Windows systems and the custom ERP system
  • Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately.

Other duties include: 

  • Unlocking user accounts
  • Setting up new user accounts
  • Email diverts
  • Running basic and preconfigured SQL scripts

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Willingness to learn

Advantageous skills / Experience:

  • Previous customer service experience 
Personal Qualities:
  • Excellent attention to detail
Desired Qualifications:
  • Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades D/3 or above
  • 3x GCSE’s grade A-C / 8-4 in any other subject

You must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same level, or higher level than this apprenticeship.

Things to Consider: 92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks
