  • 6 weeks, 5 days a week
  • Employability Work Prep (4 days per week)
  • Quality Work Experience (4 weeks / 1 day per week)
  • Progression Support


What is an Advanced Traineeship?

An Advanced Traineeship is a 6-week programme designed to support young people aged 16-18yrs into an apprenticeship /employment or further educationTheir weekly timetable will consist of:

4 days per week (over 6 weeks). Work preparation, CV writing, Interview techniques and prep, confidence building and preparation for their sector specific work placement. Health and wellbeing & money management.

Work Experience. 1 day per week (for 4 weeks). As part of their Traineeship programme students will complete work experience. Total Training Provision will work with students to choose the correct placement for them, this will be based on their sector choices and will be a quality work experience placement.

Incentives Available:

Weekly Travel pass provided by Total Training Provision

Lunch provided by Total Training Provision

Weekly Bursary payment – paid into their bank account to help with other expenses (if meet eligibility criteria). This will not affect any other benefits they are in receipt of, it is additional to what they already receive as Traineeships are a government backed initiative).

Eligibility:

  • 16-18 yrs. old
  • Does not currently hold a Level 3 qualification or above.
  • Willing to look for and start either a full time Apprenticeship or Employment opportunity.
