Job Description:

What will the apprentice be doing?

This is a great place to develop your technical skills and learn to become a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in the fast-paced world of food manufacturing.

Learning on-the-job at the heart of the action, you’ll gain a full understanding of Mechanical and Electrical engineering maintenance alongside food safety, compliance and processing procedures. You'll spend time away at college on block release before returning to your manufacturing site to put your learning into practice.

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Level 3 Extended Diploma in Food & Drink Engineering Maintenance will be provided by Midland Group Training Services at their Redditch training facility. Accommodation id provided at Pershore College, which has great residential facilities, as well as a great campus environment.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Once qualifed you will be a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Desired Skills and Personal: Attention to detail, Problem solving skills, Number skills, Logical, Mechanical aptitude
Desired Qualifications:

GCSE or equivalent English (Grade Level 5) Essential
GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade Level 6) Essential

Things to Consider:

You will attend college on block release over the 4 years
